Becoming like little children calls us to deep trust and full dependence on Jesus. It calls us to embrace each day with joyful anticipation, loving abundantly, and forgiving quickly. Having a childlike faith is not an immature faith. Instead, it is a beautiful picture of how to live out what we believe.
"God longs to whisper your true identity over you. But the process of discovering your identity requires courage and determination. Courage, because you will have to let go of the labels and lies you have been carrying around. And perhaps ever harder, you need to receive His words of love and affirmation."
"Jesus came to give you a full, meaningful life. He came to give you peace, joy, freedom, and satisfaction. He chose to leave heaven and come to earth to take your place on the cross. He chose you. He wants you. He loves you. He is ready to give you a full, abundant life. The question is, do you want it?"
...there is one thing that you and I can never ever do in heaven. We can’t reach the lost. We can’t have an impact on people that do not know Jesus. We can’t live and speak and serve in such a way that those who see us wonder about the hope that we have. The time to make disciples is now.
"We all want significance and purpose. Well there is good news! You can find purpose right where you are. How? Put your heart and soul into every activity you do today! Work willingly with a joyful heart and a good attitude. Developing the daily discipline of choosing joy and a good attitude will help you discover your purpose."
