What a God we have! Indeed! He is amazing! I imagine Him looking down at the earth He created, winking at Jesus and the Holy Spirit, declaring “the best is yet to come!” He made the mountains and the oceans, sunrise and sunset. Beauty filled the earth, but that was not enough. He wanted someone made in His image, so He made you! You are His ultimate creation, His beloved, His redeemed. What a God we have!
When Jesus pulls us close and whispers our name, when we come under agreement and truly believe we are His, we are given a brand new life. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sin and secure our home in heaven. So now what? Should we sit back and take it easy? By no means! Jesus instructed us to pray “on earth as it is in heaven.” Heaven is our future, but the future starts now. In other words, you my sweet friend are here to bring heaven to earth.
When you step into your God-given purpose, pray according to His will, and love as He has loved you, you are bringing heaven down. Woah. I can’t think of a purpose greater than that!
Now is not the time for apathy, no ma’am. Now is the time for you to become fully alive! So lets throw off every weight that hinders us and run the race God has set before us! And let us not forget, this is not a solo race. We were created to run together. So grab your tennis shoes, and I’ll grab the water. Lets run into this glorious future together.
Reflect and Respond:
1. Read Hebrews chapter 11. What action steps did these people of faith take? What step of faith is God prompting you to take?
2. What gets in your way of living a life of faith? Is it doubt, a bad habit, fear? Ask God to reveal anything that hinders your relationship with Him, then ask Him to help you remove it.
3. What do you see in your future? Ask God to give you vision, then act on what He says.
Encouragement: You have a big, great, and glorious future ahead of you! Today is the day! Pursue Jesus and everything He has for you! Go get em’ girl!
